When purchasing a Bentley, in most cases the customer will not know the exciting things that make Bentley such an extravagant and unrivalled brand due to not only their beautiful vehicles but also their heritage of a century.

Bentley Cocktails – Adapted from a recipe in the Savoy cocktail book by Harry Craddock, 1930. You can make this thirst-quenching cocktail at home with only a few ingredients, 1 ½ ounces Calvados or Apple brandy, 1 1/2 ounces Dubonnet Rouge, 1 lemon twist for garnish - stir the Calvados and the Dubonnet over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add the garnish. Everyone should give this divine cocktail a try.
The iconic Bentley Wings – 100 years ago in 1919, the original Bentley Winged ‘B’ was designed by a friend of W.O. Bentley, Crosby. Giving them an asymmetric number of downward-pointing feathers, reputedly to combat fraudulent imitations.
In 1919, wings were a popular choice for car maker logos, however the logo may also have been a reference to W.O. Bentleys as an aero engine designer in the 1914-18 war. During the 1930s under Rolls-Royce ownership the Bentley wings were streamlined, straightened to horizontal and given 10 feathers either side, losing the asymmetry of the original. The Asymmetry was restored in the 1990s when the logo was revised, whilst the central ‘B’ was also revised to echo the 1920s original. Finally, the 5th March 2002 a definitive new corporate identity including a new Bentley winged ‘B’ was revealed, embodying the new values of Bentley but respecting their past.
Performance – The Bentley product performance is central to the overall sustainability. Bentley cars are built to last and over 80% of Bentley's, ever made, are still on the road. They are used far less frequently than mass manufacturers cars. However, despite this we have still driven down CO2 across the fleet by 30%.
Classic - On 23rd July 2004 at the Christie’s Le Mans Classic Auction in France, Bentley sold a 1930 Speed Six, bodied by Vanden Plas, ex-works, No.2 Team Car and winner of the Double twelve race and came second at Le Mans in 1930. This vehicle was Bentley highest price ever achieved vehicle at £2,784,741.
Mulliner - The Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner is a one-off kit that can be specially commissioned for our customers if requested. Featuring a bespoke installation consisting of two fabric-trimmed natural cork units that house all the equipment required for a falconry expedition. The master flight unit contains a stowage tray with compartments for a GPS bird-tracking unit, binoculars and hand-crafted leather bird hoods and gauntlets, all of which are available as an additional option.
Bentley Boys - The Bentley Boys were a group of young men and Bentley customers who lived the high life on and off the track. While nobody paid them to drive, their passion for racing won Bentley five Le Mans over eight years. Their antics often made the headlines as they gained in reputation. They included Capt. Woolf Barnato, John Duff, Tim Birkin, J.D. Benjafield, S.C.H. Davis, Glen Kidston, Jack & Clive Dunfee. The Bentley Boys are part of the exhilarating history that helped shape the brand and their passion for racing lives on in the Bentley Motorsport team today.
